Stock, Broth & Bowl: Recipes for Cooking, Drinking & Nourishing
Stock, Broth & Bowl: Recipes for Cooking... Stock, Broth & Bowl: Recipes for Cooking, Drinking & Nourishing - Jonathan Bender A nice book about 104 pages. I like most of the recipes and felt it was user friendly.

A Powerful Statement About Goodreads Censorship [Reblog]

I have to share this review with all of you.  It addresses the Goodreads censorship policy, and is written by a teenager named Nour Sharif living in the middle east.

Here is just a quote I took from it. (Or you can Read her full review)

"Let me tell you something maybe a lot of you people are not aware of. We, people who live in the Middle East, look up towards the west, where presumably, everyone is free to say and do whatever they want, bounded by no tradition or religious law whatsoever. But when this kind of law is forced upon everyone from the west itself, we lose hope. We lose hope that anything will be good again. And well for someone (me), who has suffered a lot because of that (Facebook only made my freedom of speech more restricted), I found a haven for myself in Goodreads, where apparently no one gives a fuck whether you insult or disagree with them because well, they don’t care. And because they are mature enough to ignore any insults under the pretext that it is “your opinion”.

Wanted: Handsome Alien Abductor - Myra Nour I usually love the alien plot but not this time. This book was slow and not engaging. Nothing orginal or compelling here. Too bad! These Nour is usually a fun read.

Love's Captive (Volarn, #1)
Love's Captive (Volarn, #1) - Myra Nour Love's Captive (Volarn, #1) - Myra Nour I didn't finish this book, I believe I got lost in the way with the amount of details and problems the couple went through. There was a lot of things about this world the author created that she wanted to tell, and the book became longer and longer. It was difficult to pay attention to everything with so many things going on.

Perhaps the story could be divided in two books pretty nicely. I really enjoyed how believable the couple behaved around one another, the dialogue was good.

More conversation and less description, that's what I would've liked to see. The world building was well explored and very interesting.
