Like I mentioned _ a few days ago _ here are some photos of my roses.
I am partial to the first two, and the last one: the first two smell marvellously and they're really big roses, the last one is an extremely prolific rose and I just love its colour.
I have other favourites but they're still not in bloom. So, more photos later on ;)
So, I closed my eyes and randomly grabbed this book out of the tbr bookshelf because that's how I'm doing things this year. I believe I got this one from paperbackswap at some point but I don't really know for sure. But I do know that I'm almost afraid to touch it. I fear it has been cursed.
It looks like it's been through hell and back. The cover was all mashed up when it arrived and I remember giving it an alcohol rub down because it felt so icky. The inside front cover looks like it was dropped in mud (it's mud, has to be mud it cannot have been the . . . .toilet) And I just now discovered these long black hairs inside the back cover. I have blonde hair, my long haired dog who sleeps next to this bookshelf has blonde hair. THIS IS NOT OUR HAIR. This just creeps me out for some reason I cannot explain.
Ugh, once I work my way through all of these old books, I may stick with brand new books. I think I'm developing some sort of phobia.
