Review: Faux Paws (The Dogmothers) by Roxanne St Claire
Faux Paws (The Dogmothers ) - Roxanne St. Claire

Faux Paws by Roxanne St. Claire

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

St Claire has a way with words. With each and every character she breathes life into amazing stories. Never has that been more evident than the Dogfather/Dogmothers series. Through the eyes of love we see the heartwarming beauty of family. Cuddle up with some adorable matchmakers and their shrewdly determined accomplices and you can't help but fall in love. With imagination, heart and hope, Faux Paws is a reminder that more often than not a little kindness goes a long way to making a lasting impression.

Hush, Puppy by Roxanne St. Claire

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kilcannons, Mahoneys, Santorinis, OH MY! No one does heartwarming like Roxanne St. Claire. Cuteness jumps off every page and romance is not far behind. The Dogmothers are at it again and I couldn't be more thrilled. Hush, Puppy is a heartbreaker. Destiny and Maverick are an adorable combination. Summer and John bring the heat. YiaYia and Finnie bring the mischief and their larger than life family shares the love. There's a smile waiting to be found and St Claire never ceases to deliver the goods.

Sunset Bay Sanctuary
Sunset Bay Sanctuary (A Sunset Bay Novel) - Roxanne Willems Snopek

Haylee and Mac both have had tragic pasts. This book covered so much- there was death of a child and parents, teenage pregnancy, adoption, the adoptive parents are horrible trope, animals are healing. There was so much going on. There were so many characters too. I had a hard time connecting with both leads. I probably would have given this a 3*, but then something happened that I really didn't like.

sex with no mention of condom use. And yes, Haylee got pregnant! I thought this was a bit of a 180 for her character. She and Mac didn't discuss having kids, so yeah. (At least I don't remember a conversation)

(spoiler show)

I read this for Romance-opoly Emergency Services Sun track square

Chasing Tail (The Dogmothers #3) by: Roxanne St. Claire
Chasing Tail (The Dogmothers #3) - Roxanne St. Claire

From classy to sassy, St. Claire proves that she can do it all. Chasing Tail is a seduction that is not to be missed. Connor and Sadie are a powder keg of emotion that refuses to be denied. From humor to heartache they bring on the heat. The battle lines are drawn rather quickly, but the thrill lies in the meddling that goes on behind the scenes. From cuddly matchmakers to busybody grandmas, it's hard not to love The Dogmothers series. One taste is never enough of this irresistible family.

Dachshund Through the Snow (The Dogmothers #2.5) by: Roxanne St. Claire
Dachshund Through the Snow (The Dogmothers #2.5) - Roxanne St. Claire

The great thing about The Dogmothers series is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. The irony of that statement is that both the Dogfather and Dogmothers series manage to stay light-hearted while at times dealing with some series subjects. At heart St. Claire delivers a little food for the soul wrapped inside a cuddly, heartwarming package. Dachshund continues that legacy with a hint of teen angst, more furry cutie pies and a couple of busybody grannies that prove a force onto themselves. Life lessons with a dose of heart tingles on the side. Irresistible.
