This is the 3rd book in this series and it is Colin Sloan's story, the tattooed, bad boy of the family.  Colin is the youngest of the Sloan siblings.  While he was young when his father was murdered and his mother was convicted of the crime, Colin dealt with the fallout differently.  He ended up hanging with the wrong crowds and become an addict.  Now he's been sober for 8 years and longing for a relationship with Elle Mariano, instead of the casual friends-with-benefits thing they have going on.  Elle is worried with taking things to the next step with Colin because of her son Alex.  Alex's father had been an addict and ended up OD'ing.  Even though Colin is sober, Elle doesn't want to have her son around that possibility.  

As Colin continues to insinuate himself into Elle's world, Elle decides to give Colin a chance.  There are a lot of differences between Colin and her dead husband.  I really enjoyed their time together.  Colin and Elle each brought out good things in each other.  They made each other realize that there was a lot more to life than what they were doing and their happy ending was great.

I am really enjoying the mystery of Colin's dad's murder and the addition of Marcus.  I can't wait to see where this ends up.  It's all just so crazy!

This is the second book in the Sinful Nights series.  I LOVED this book!  This story was about Ryan Sloan, Shannon Sloan's sister.  After the craziness of his past family life, Ryan craves control in his life.  Imagine his surprise when he sees this gorgeous blond outside of the police department, on his way to meet the detective working on his father's murder case.  Ryan is completely captivated and just has to meet his fantasy girl.  Sophie Winston was the geeky quiet girl who became a huge success and then she sold off her business.  Now Sophie spends her time being a philanthropist but she craves letting go of her control.

These two each possessed something the other desperately wanted.  The sexual chemistry between these two was off the charts!  I loved how Ryan brought out such emotions from Sophie and how she brought out a softer side of Ryan.

I really enjoyed the continuation of the mystery behind Ryan's dad's murder.  It was great having the detective the case turn out to be Sophie's brother!

I just adored this story and these two characters.  Their happy ever after was perfect for the two of them!  I loved Sophie's addiction to the fruity dresses!  Too cute!  Overall, another great story and I can't wait to see how this mystery is going to end!

This is a spinoff series from the Seductive Nights series.  This story is about Brent Nichols, Clay's brother....yes, that Clay! ;)  Brent was engaged to Shannon Paige-Prince 10 years ago....and after a bone-headed move, they split.  Now, fate has brought Brent and Shannon back together.  Brent is a successful comedian and has opened up comedy clubs all over the world.  Shannon is now a successful choreographer who owns her own company that employs dancers all over the world.  Shannon is working out a deal to get her dancers working at his clubs and Brent doesn't even know it is her because her company name is Shay Productions, and his right-hand man, James is the one meeting with her.  Imagine both of their surprises when they meet at the initial meeting!  It's very obvious these two still have very strong emotional feelings for each other.

I just loved how Brent had to win her heart all over again.  The chemistry between these two was wonderful.  The path these two had to take to get to their happy ending was worth it.  The added suspenseful story line of Shannon's past history is a great addition.  I can't wait to see where this story is going to go.  

Overall, another great book from Lauren Blakely!

Michael has been a mystery from the start of the Sinful Nights Series. Dark, brooding and lost. Was painful to see how he closed himself off to any happiness just to dwell in the heartbreak of the past. Lauren Blakely writes characters that are complex but haunting. Sad to see her Sinful Nights series come to an end but glad to have had the chance to take in this sexy, complicated and memorable ride.
