The Party Boy's Guide to Dating a Geek -... Awesome story! This was so sweet, I just loved Fee and Ash together. And what a cute ending!

Met the author of this book today.  He was such a sweetheart and left the message "Good lucky finding your player two".  So glad to have this book, I looked at some of it and it seems funny and a very good read.  I know that once I start I will not stop laughing and loving it.  So glad that I was able to get it.

It was cute, it was sweet. Just the right amount of angst. But the wow factor was totally missing. I never became vested in the main characters. Some good bones were there, but the execution was poor. This writing duo doesn't work for me.

I listened to the audiobook and it was full of errors...mispronunciations, repeated sentences, wrong names. It had obviously not been edited before it was released. Paul Morey is a mediocre narrator, but he does most voices well. His narrative voice leaves a lot to be desired. His chosen voice for Donovan was absolutely ridiculous...a combination of Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck. Good grief.

I have two very different reactions to this book. Both make a lot of sense when you consider the two facets of this book: Geeks and Dating.

I'm on the fence about this one. It's funny...but it's in no way spectacular.

 

It has, however, teased a few good chuckles out of me.
