Top Shelf Urban Fantasy - 5 Stars Benedict Jacka raises his game in the third installment of the Alex Verus series. After a shaky start to the series, he has produced a book I can gladly display next to my favorite Urban Fantasy novels by Jim Butcher, Ben Aaronovitch and Larry Corriea. I have a s...

5.0 Taken (An Alex Verus Novel)
This is probably one of the best urban fantasy series I've read, second only to the The Dresden Files. This one was great as usual - I love a main character with unique powers who is capable, smart, and not a push-over (and the author does it all while not making him over-powered).
