She has written seven critically acclaimed novels of which three - The Mistress's Revenge, The War of the Wives and The Fallout (which came out in the UK as The Broken) - have been published in the US. She has worked as a journalist for more than twenty years, writing for publications including The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan.
