This is a continuation of the story that began in book 1, Between the Lines. I rarely say this, but I feel they should be read in order. The plot in book 1 is pivotal in making the plot here work. I'm unsure how I feel about this book. The romance aspects were enjoyable and worth reading. The rest.....
Holy cow did I like this book.I read the first book in this series, Between the Lines with Ames for a buddy review over at Breezing Through (I’ll let you know when that review goes live) and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I immediately started this book. I was equal parts glad that I...
Though I saw immediately how things would turn out, I still enjoyed watching Brooke and Reid manipulate and connive their way into Graham and Emma's arms. Another fun book in the Between the Lines series, though I couldn't tell you if I liked it better than the first book. Probably about the same,...
Book opens up to Graham's POV? Um, yes please! Do you know how refreshing it was to open the book to find my guy Graham? So very refreshing. And to get a little deeper into that head of his was even more so. Oh how I love this guy. With this book we get so much more of him and it is why it is so far...
I would rate this as 5 stars in a heartbeat IF it were based solely on Graham and Emma's relationship, but unfortunately, no romance novel can actually become a novel if not for conflicts. And very unfortunately, the conflicts in this book took upon the form of Brooke and Reid's alternating POVs.Whi...
Meh, it was okay. The Emma/Graham romance bored me, and adding Brooke's POV to the story annoyed me. Honestly, if it wasn't for Reid, I may not have finished this book at all. He is, IMO, the best character in the whole series.
Even better than the first one! I enjoy the writing style of Webber and am using my Kindle right now while I write this review on my phone to buy the third book. Haha
I'm thinking 3.8ish... So this was a definite improvement from the first book. Brooke and Reid plot to break Emma and Graham apart using lies and deceit. Naturally, after some tears and heartache Brooke's boomerang makes the expected 180 and knocks her on her virtual ass. That was a fun part, b...
Well book 2 delivered as much as I hoped. We follow on with Emma, Reid, Graham and Brooke and I love the way that you want to punch the living daylights out of the 'bad guys' but then in the second breath you actually feel sorry for them. Your riveted to read on and hope that good will out the bad...
Um, yeah. So, I'm not going to bother with book 3. This book gave me a migraine and towards the end I just skimmed over all the Brooke/Reid parts. But the cover is still very pretty. *snorts*
