I didn't enjoy this as much as the last though I'm not too sure why. Maybe I was expecting more kick arse-ness in relation to LaFleur. I guess after the last one and Elliot...it was still good but I didn't find her as evil as him so I guess her getting her comeuppance didn't excite me as much.As for...

Gin is going to have to constantly look over her shoulder. Mab is getting pretty pissed about losing her men to the Spider. The assassin that Mab hires is insane. She takes joy in using her magic to destroy others. She isn’t in it for the money. She’s in for it the glory. She’s also a force to be re...

Tangled Threads continues the interesting and engrossing story of retired assassin Gin Blanco, an elemental magic user who uses any means necessary to protect those she calls family. In this, the fourth book of Jennifer Estep's wonderful Elemental Assassin series, Gin faces her toughest enemy yet, E...

This is the fourth book in Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin series and while Estept does take time each book to slightly recap what has happened before, in order to truly appreciate this book and series you need to read the first three books, Spider's Bite, Web of Lies and Venom. Gin Blanco is...

Another terrific Gin adventure. After declaring war on Mab, things get very intense. A new threat is unleashed on Gin and company. We see less of Sophia in this one as Gin wants the bodies found. Owen and Gin get more involved. I loved the twist to Electra's character and the inevitable conclusion o...

If I haven’t said it enough already, I’ll say it again, I love Gin Blanco, the bad-ass, sassy, sexy, cocky and smart heroine. And all the other supporting characters are consistent and never disappoints. In fact, their family is constantly growing. First there was just Gin, Fin, Jo-jo and Sophia… t...

“More of the same” is probably the expression that sums up this book the best. The fire elemental and mobster’s main henchman have been replaced with a henchvoman in the form of the electrical elemental LaFleur. Otherwise the story have distinct similarities to the one in the previous book. That mean...

I'm not going to write a long review, but I will say a few things. *I love Finnegan Fane--he's a great friend to Gin.*I like how selfless Gin is and always tries to save the people who've been hurt no matter if she is thrown to the crossfire thanks to her actions while saving others*Thank god that D...

This was my fav Gin book so far. There's a fair amount of resolution to some outstanding plot threads, but Estep sets up the future books well. Really liked this one.

I seriously could not wait to write a review of Venom before staring this one. I read this book in one day, while my husband was home. I seriously never read when the hubs is home, but I simply couldn’t wait. Gah, I love this series so much! This book was certainly more explosive than any of the prio...
