by Lora Leigh
I have no idea why I keep picking-up books by Leigh. Every time I do, I end up nearly frothing at the mouth in rage and go on a mental Hulk rampage.I think I'm drawn to Leigh because her writing style is so nice and easy to slip into. The Breeds universe is also extremely interesting with a group of...
This is the story of Tanner and Scheme. Scheme is an abused woman her father has terribly mistreated her going so far as to force and abortion on her and then have her sterilized, burning her alive, paying a man to have sex with her and so on. But through it all she is a double agent and a secret sh...
First let me say that the plot is A+. I really enjoyed the skeleton of the story... the concept, I guess. That being said, I have a lot of complaints.SPOILER WARNING - I'm about to site specific examples and while I don't necessarily discuss the outcome of the events, some people might not want to k...
I am still completely amazed by how well Lora Leigh writes her stories, she is such a riveting author where her exciting stories just come to life; and and draws the reader into a whirlwind of passion, adventure and classick love stories that will pull at your heartstrings. the Characters: Tanner an...
Tanner has long been a book crush for me!! So happy to see him get his mate! I was sorta hoping for a menage with his twin but still a great book regardless. Very intriguing story-line. As with much of the breeds you have to disregard foreshadowing that never follows through!
Loved it! I'll definately read this again after I go back and start the series from the beginning. Tanner and Scheme are such intense characters and I really hope Cabal finds his way in another story.
For the past eight years, Scheme Tallant has led a double life as the assistant to her father, General Cyrus Tallant, a member of the Genetics Council, and as a spy for the Feline Breeds. Only the man who recruited her, Jonas Wyatt, knows the truth and her cover doesn't make her a popular person in ...
Tanner's Scheme was very good. I had no hopes for it considering my displeasure of the last two books, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked Tanner and Scheme, but Scheme was the winning factor in this story. I thought she was strong, loyal, fierce and protective when she needed to be. I rea...
This is the first of the Breed novels by Lora Leigh that I've read. It is probably not the best place to start as it is several books within the series and there is a lot of background where some previous knowledge is assumed.Having said that is was quite easy to pick up the general background. Br...
