Tanya Davies trained as a dancer and actress before turning her hand to washing dishes, waitressing, typing, talking loudly in Murder Mystery evenings and finally writing. Writing is her favourite job and she sometimes gets paid to do it too. She lives in Australia with her two children, a red dog and a snow leopard called Birdie. Her first novel, 'Sarah's Song' won the ACT Writer's and Publisher's Award 2013.
