I put this off for awhile, because I didn't like the second book as much as the first one, but this is definitely the best of the series. I loved Dean and Austin on their own. The jokes and puns were a little much in places, but it was very funny and enjoyable.

I liked this novel less than the first two in the series. The imagination of the writer and her wicked sense of humor are still evident in this tale, and the narrative is strong and consistently engaging, but the plot line is a bit repetitive. Embarrassingly, I've read it before, but didn't realize until we hit the mall. Still, a good book, Huff is great with characters, and brings them to life well, whether a teenage girl, a cat or a mummy. I like the consistency and moral code of her characters; Huff doesn't make them act inconsistent...
