20 years ago Oprah picked Open House for her book club and it has been my favorite all these years. Berg is just a feel-good writer, good to pick up after a 700 page tome. This came very close to Open House, as far as my enjoyment. My daughter couldn't believe I finished in one day.
I listened to this on audio. I highly recommend you avoid the audio version and read the book. The narrator has a very distinctive voice. The main characters are all women and the narrator doesn't chnge tempo, pitch, or tone for the chnage in charcters. I'm not sure what the director was thinkin...
