Loved it. First REALLY good novel I've read in a long time. All the characters came to life, ect. Haven't read a Holocaust novel since Number the Stars by LL way back in grade/middle school. Also a great book. Also sad. Probably why it's been over ten years until I read another one.
I read this book twice and I liked this novel very much, its a great story of old and new, the only thing about this book that lets it down is the modern part of the book seems out of place. Having said that a real page turner.
