I'm sad to say I hadn't heard much about Thomas Ligotti, although I am a fan of horror. After reading this excellent collection of his short stories turned into a graphic novel format, I'm definitely going to seek out more of his work. I'm not entirely sure what I think about Blue Amazon, other than that I didn't like it. It's an interesting take on an alternate reality... I think. Ultimately, the artwork and storytelling is so muddled (not to mention short on space) that I never really got a firm grasp on exactly what this world ...
Ted McKeever did the art on this book. A very different look.. or "take" on what most superman books look like. Much darker. I truly like the unique-ness.
