I’m not a big urban fantasy reader, but I’d heard this one recommended a few ties so I tried it. I liked it, but it never fully engaged me and I found the semi-forced romance a bit off-putting (though handled MUCH better than it could have been). Readers of this series, does it get better? My first graphic audio audiobook. This was a lot of fun listening to, though I do feel like you miss something when sound effects replace descriptions.

After awhile I fell into the story and ended up enjoying it. I like the direction Wilks has gone with paranormal aspect. Giving werewolves civil rights is pre...
