It's weird I don't have a jackass shelf, considering the jackass hero is one of my favorites. By jackass I mean in a fond, ridiculous way "selfish and / or immature asshole" *winks at Jack Talent & Joshua Templeman*Friends, they are my favorite kind. The stupid, immature oddly sensitive yet super de...

I was so much bestowed by Sherry Thomas's Delicious that I took up another book from her but it turned out to be a total letdown. Was it my mistake that I read her book back to back or was the book really boring? Hm I would like to agree with latter, as I have loved some of her book and hated too. A...

Now, that’s Sherry how I like her. And check this out – she used amnesia in this book without making it sound too ridiculous. I told you she could pull off anything she liked. I’m waiting for her to do something with amnesia AND a long-lost twin sibling! In ‘Tempting the Bride’ we have a ludicrously ...

27yo book publisher can’t remember her husband as well as her siblings’ spouses. Hero feels both despair and relief about the temporary amnesia she has due to an accident. He is astonished at how she’s considering him without her usual expressions of disgust & irritation that she’s displayed towards...

3.5/5Not really Sherry's best book, but I still quite enjoyed it. After some consideration I don't think I'll be reviewing it. After build-up of tension between Hastings and Helena in previous books, the solution to their animosity felt like a cope out, which left me quite disappointed.

This was published on my birthday. Should've read it then, as a bday present to myself. :)

While I found Helena nearly intolerable before the kick to the head that takes her memory, I loved every character besides her so much (especially Hastings and his - illegitimate - daughter Bea); and the accident takes place relatively early, thus minimal exposure to Hellacious Helena, I can still s...

Really enjoyed this one. Hero was a complete jackass and managed to come around believably. Although it was weird that for some reason the hero resembled Tom Hiddleston in my head.
