Just adore this book by Johanna Lindsey! This is my favorite by her. So sexy and Tony is so charming. He does go a little dark as he backs into a bargain with Roslynn. It showed how the charmer doesn't always get his way. I always love a Scottish character and she was particularly enjoyable.

I'm starting to really enjoy the Malory series. Although in this book there was a few things I didn't like - how stubborn Roslynn was, how she saw only what she wanted, how she didn't trusted Anthony almost to the end of the book - but at least the end was great.

Once again, a re-read for me. First read in 1988. Fiery Roslynn vies off to England to find a husband. She has strict instructions from her Scottish grandfather about the type of man she should marry. She has her own views, but once she meets Anthony Malory, all bets are off. Anthony might be a ra...

This is probably one of my favorite Malory books, although I think that Anthony is an absolute cad. He is a complete rake, and he certainly gets hoisted by his own petard when he decides to pursue innocent Rosalyn, who's on the lookout for a husband, not a lover. He's never met a woman like Rosalyn,...
