3.5 starsThis was a re-read for me, but I had completely forgotten most of the story. The beginning was slow for me, the pace picking up after the "war" started between Bannor, Willow, and Bannor's unruly brood. I didn't like Bannor much; he is a very passive hero, letting his passel of kids walk ...

Seré una zopenca, pero, sinceramente, no me esperaba lo que fue que pasó llegando a más de la mitad.Algo parecido se me dio con [b:A Rose in Winter|896625|A Rose in Winter|Kathleen E. Some of this author's newer novels have been misses with me. Including this one. I liked the different setting (Morocco), but was pretty much it. I didn't particular care about Clarinda or Ash. I also didn't like the harem plot-line. I kept thinking I would get more into it, but instead thought, "is...

A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
ah Teresa.......Teresa Medeiros manages to make me shed tears more often than any other romance authors. Something in her stories always speaks to my sentimental self. This story is one of unrequitted love, going on 9 years long. When Clarinda was just 17 and Ash 21. Ash left to make a better future...
A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
I like Teresa Medeiros, a lot. That is why I read this book a few months ago. Paranormal is not my usual genre but Teresa Medeiros wrote it and it is historical. I thought I would give it a try. It is a very easy read. Teresa Medeiros' writing is natural and enticing. Following the story is no hards...
A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
it should really be more 3 stars. the story is typical Teresa which is just fine for me. her style speaks to me. I start reading and immediately like it and want to know more. I have read other authors whose books I can't seem to get past 100 pages, in spite of the raving reviews they got. so I tend...
A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
I haven't read such a good romance in a loooooonnnngggg time. most of the romance novels just scratch at the surface and I.don't feel connected to the hero and heroin. not this book. this book has all the early Julie Garwood charms and a relationship that tugs at your heart.

I didn't like this one as much as her earlier books. I did like some of the (sassy and smart) comments Emma and Jaime made. It did pick up towards the end.

A fun historical romance with an entertaining plot but some parts were pretty exaggerated and the story was so heavy with detailed descriptions that I started skimming all but dialog. Laura finds an unconscious man, kisses him awake, learns he lost his memory and tells him he is Nicholas her betrot...
