First I have to add, what a beautiful cover this is. Normally we never “judge a book by it's’ cover” but this one is so eye catching and lovely so, yes, I am guilty of this. Just for this one. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a book that made me laugh as much as this one! Amy is such a likable char...

When I read the opening line of this book "The goat was in the tree again" I knew this one was going to be fun. I just loved Texas Gothic. It wasn't anything spectacular, it wasn't super creepy like I thought it would be, and it wasn't anything new, but I enjoyed the characters, the mystery, and the...

If someone had told me that once I was able to finish this book's first chapter, I would be indecisive between giving it a 3.5 stars or a 4 star rating, I would probably tell her/him to get a grip! ~by then I was blowing a gasket!~ And the story starts out really good! "The goat was in the tree...

There is definitely something I like about this author's writing. I just seem to get sucked in. This book was another quick and entertaining read. At this rate, I will be through all her books in no time.

Oh, I really enjoyed this. I mean, it's not the best book I've ever read, and I'd put the writing at the "perfectly serviceable" level, and, I mean, the mystery isn't exactly miles above an episode of Scooby Doo, BUT. I love books set in Texas, and I love a good cowboy love story, and I like me so...

The first time Amy Goodnight meets Ben whose family owns att the property around her aunt's ranch, she's in her underwear trying to cope with something else that has gone wrong. The two of them fall into a love/hate relationship. He has issues with her family and their strangeness and she'd like t...

3.5 StarsThe Goodnight family is quirky to say the least. Amy has always known that her family isn’t exactly ‘normal’ her aunt is a kitchen witch, her sister is always making potions and instruments to measure the paranormal and her cousin is a psychic. Amy just wants to live a normal life but tha...
