Because there was the slow burn - basically no action until 75% . And I didn't appreciate the whole "Gallagher men only love once in their life" - sorry, that's bullshit. It was very heavily constructed and the hero was a bit OTT. But I liked him (blond, ex-SEAL, hot cowboy - what's not to like?...
