Superhero Girl is an antidote for all those comics who take their superheroes a little too seriously. Would be a good book for any little sister, grades 4 and up.
Here's a short and sweet review. I love Faith Erin Hicks. I love her humor, and her ability to write real women. Most of all, I love her illustrations. This book is no exception to that rule. Imagine a superhero who isn't quite sure she's so super. What to do when you live in Canada, and there's...

Does Superman's cape ever shrink in the wash? This is the story of a superhero girl, with no official name, not much of a costume, and not even an arch nemisis to call her own.Wryly humorous and sweet, I read this first in webcomic form, and liked it enough to pick up coloured versions in print. I h...
