A free Kindle book. I liked the story very much. Learned about the apothecaries in early England times. Very interesting. There was also issues with women serving in certain roles. Some twists and turns that I didn't expect.

Lots of information & facts that were completely unnecessary to the overall story. Drawn out & became a bit boring. Hated that the longggg novel was summed up quickly &, truthfully, boring.
That was WAYYYYYY better than I thought it was going to be starting out. After a rainbow of emotions I believe Lilly ended up right where she is supposed to be.
