If you hate baseball, do not try to read this book. Even if you have Good Reads friends who say they're not interested in baseball but they loved this book, BEWARE. No matter how many glowing reviews you read, you will not like The Art of Fielding if you truly hate baseball the way I do.

Beautiful. Lovely. Funny and smart. I feel like the characters are my friends and I miss them already. I kind of want to give this book to everyone I know.
It was a pleasure watching this story slowly unwind on a small college campus. It is so much more than a baseball book. The characters are fully developed. A great read!
