This book did capture my attention. Amanda, a ranch owners daughter, is tightly controlled by her tutor until Dr Hank Montgomery, a union organizer, comes to town and shakes her beliefs. I may have rolled my eyes at a couple plot turns but the story held my interest throughout.
I loved this book so much. I wore out my copy (although I still have it at home on my keeper shelf). The story of Hank and Amanda will always touch my heart. I loved the setting of the 1920s which is such a great time period, but so woefully underutilized in romances. Hank was such a cool character...
