So, my spouse dragged me to Florida for a week. Her sister lives in a motel, just a block from Hollywood Beach, and they had a vacancy. So we joined her. The motel is sort of U-shaped, with a central courtyard. Many of the tenants come for weeks, if not months, at a time. One such tenant was a woman...

Believe or not, but you can benefit from being late for the party: One month ago I didn't know about the existence of the internationally acclaimed mystery writer from Norway Jo Nesbø and wanted immediately to read more by this author. That means I HAD to start with his Harry Hole series. And here I...

There were ...

A Norwegian national is killed while working in Australia and Detective Harry Hole is sent to assist in the investigation. It’s not long before her death is linked to a string of murders and it’s believed a serial killer is on the loose. Can Harry and company track down and stop the murderer befor...

Very much enjoyed the novel perspective of a Norwegian detective finding his feet in Australia. Will probably read the other Harry Hole book but not bowled over yet by Harry Hole.

A little different than the style I'm used to, but I really like it. Definitely going to read more in the series.
