This book was only okay. It seemed as though the author kept running out of ideas while writing this story. I wasn't really all that satisfied with the ending, which dragged down my opinion of the whole book. I'm not sure if I would actually recommend this to anyone.
Well written period piece. Good multiple plot lines. Resolution on all fronts was well tied together. This was a short book, but it read like a longer novel. Not because it seemed to drag on, but because each sentence was well written and conveyed a lot of visual information without being verbos...
