A good read for those who need to argue against "intelligent design" theories with obstreperous relatives during the holidays. I really liked his mathematical perspectives, deconstructing seemingly impossible statistics and showing how they are indeed quite reasonable.

Dawkins loves explaining evolutionary theory, and this is one of his best books. My favourite bit is the section on long-tailed birds (peacocks, etc).
