Because I reread The Hero and the Crown, of course I had to reread this one too. Again, it is just too dear to my heart to give it any kind of objective rating.

I gave up after the first chapter! There were too many cuss words and the whole story just seemed dull. I don't give up on books very often, but Robin McKinley seems to be the exception. I haven't been able to finish any of her books!
