Unfortunately, this is a three star read for me. Everyone and their cousin was eye-deep in Daniel's business. That attitude constantly grated on my nerves and spoiled most of the book. There are only three people that I liked: Daniel, Cam and Jordan. In the end - Bree, she really came through for Da...
This is the story of Cam & Dan. I enjoyed it overall but at times I thought it got messy. There was so much in this story. It had the feel of 'wrapping it all up'. If this is the end I'll miss St Nacho's fare thee well.
I've loved this whole series and this book certainly lives up to the previous ones. I don't want to say it's my favourite 'coz that would be like picking a favourite among your children! But, for sure, Daniel touched something in my heart. It's a story of redemption and integrity, love and compromis...
Another great story set in St Nachos. The emotional story of Daniel and Cam. Great characters and lots of soul searching but also humour. "You're a cowboy and a fireman?" "Yes, Daniel," Cam said drily. "It's almost as if I am half of the Village People, all rolled into one."
A good ending to this part of the series. I liked Daniel's story better than Jacob's (his brother, 3rd book in the series), because it felt more real. I liked that the ex-wife is not an evil witch and I think that this part was done very sensitively. I liked Cam, Daniel's love interest - because the...
In the St. Nacho's series, Jordan and Cameron were my favorite characters. It was wonderful to see the many dimensions of Cam. And he got a run for his money in who he fell in love with in Daniel. Smart assed, confused, family protector, struggling to find himself and admit he was human Daniel. Dan ...
This is my favorite book of the series. We have Daniel, Jacob's brother and someone who his entire life has lived in the closet, married to a woman who he really did not love. We get to see Daniel grow and realize the truth about himself. We also have Cam, the hunky, Firefighter who acts like the p...
I have to say that I didn't get my hopes up too much with this book after the last two in series just fell flat for me, but was surprised. I liked the story between Cam and Daniel. How Daniel had to grow and change to become the person he needed to be and be accountable for his actions and that Ca...
