Quick and light, addictive, but not heavy on substance. A bit dated as well, which is odd-I'd think 2009 wouldn't feel quite that way.

28 Apr 200522 Apr 2016Humorous mystery/romance? I believe Compromising Positions was the first one I adored. It's a great combination, and I enjoy what Cabot does with it.Yet another entry in the mother/daughter Cabot readathon.Library copy

This book was funny but seems a bit dated. I'm sure even parents know how to use email now. However, it was very hard to put down and I finished it in one day. I really liked the characters. *** Read first on January 1st 2006 ***Slightly cheesy, but lots of fun! I love Cabot's exaggerated, hilarious characters. VIVICA, Mim and Dolly Vargas, especially, are charmingly entertaining. And how you can almost predict which e-mails will be coming snowballing back after one message has been let...

It is all emails between friends, family, etc.Mel is our MC, who is a entertainment journalist and lives in an apartment. Next door lives an old woman who, one night, is...

Well this book had an interesting enough story line(although predictable but a lot of Chick lit is like that) I hated, absolutely hated the fact that it was written in emails. I could not focus on it long enough because of that and it took me waaaayyy longer to read this than should ever be possible...
