The ending was a bit abrupt, but I did like the back and forth story telling. It weaved together nicely and was well written. Cripple was definitely my favorite character: wise, sarcastic, mischievous, caring.
I wasn't real thrilled with this one. Myers grew up in the Congo, so describes it vividly but I wasn't particularly taken with her characters. This is the third in the series and it's possible I'm missing some vital character development in earlier books, but I just couldn't connect. The story was b...
