The characters and romance piece were patently Stewart. More avaiable emotional woman, reluctant guy determined to never be burned again. I like Rowdy, I did. I like Stewart's writing. I enjoyed the book. What I didn't enjoy is the social commentary that was reductionist and somewhat stereotypical. ...
