Getting her to the wedding on time is the least of his worries... Kate Preston just moved to New York, but she has to get back to Seattle in time for her best friend's wedding. Joe Firretti is moving to Seattle, and has to get there in time or risk losing his new job. But fate's got a sense of humor. Kate goes from rubbing elbows on a plane with a gorgeous but irritating strange (doggone armrest hog) to sharing one travel disaster after another with him on four wheels. Joe thought he had his future figured out, but sometimes fates has to knock you over the head pretty hard before you see what opportunity is standing in front of you...in a really god-awful poufy bridesmaid dress. Praise for Julia London: "London knows how to keep pages turning...winningly fresh and funny."—Publishers Weekly "London's ability to draw real-life characters and settings is superb...her characters cope with life's curveball's and keep on trucking."—RT Book Reviews, 4 ½ stars

If you're looking for some saccharine filled fiction, with a happily ever after at the ending, this novella is for you! That's actually the reason that I chose it for our book club's novella month. I wanted to introduce new readers in the group to romance, and what better way to do it than with a li...

3.0 THE BRIDESMAID BY: JULIA LONDON
The Bridesmaid was pretty much exactly what I was expecting. It was short, light and fluffy romance. Joe and Kate were your average everyday people that met during a flight to Seattle, where pretty much anything that could go wrong with their trip, did indeed go wrong. Or in their case maybe kismetl...

4.0 The Bridesmaid [Review]
This is such an adorable little novella. The characters are extremely likable and they felt like real people. I wish I could hang out with them. I also love that they genuinely liked each other. Nobody denied their feelings or any of that typical drama, it was just two people that met by chance and ...

3.0 The Bridesmaid: A Novella
I'm not giving it 3 stars, because I didn't like it, but it was too short and nothing really happened, there was a sex scene which was very very boring, The story felt in the surface somehow without getting to close to the characters if that makes any sense. So i didn't hate it, but neither I liked i...

3.0 Bridesmaid Review
In a twist on Planes, Trains and Automobiles, two strangers--Kate's en route to be a bridesmaid, Joe's en route to a life-altering job interview--battle a storm, a transportation strike, and each other in a cross-country race to make it to the wedding on time. Review This novella was a lovely wa...
