3.5 really with a crap load of reservations, but there was lots to like about this novel so I'm bumping it up rather than down. Give me a week and I could change my mind.

I think the only reason why this book didn't end up with 5 stars is because in the middle, I started to get bored. My favorite parts of the book were when the setting was in Washington. The parts about Everett in Canada, Irwin in Vietnam, and Peter in India, while informative to where they all ended...
