Dear Listener,The word carnivorous means meat eating and this carnivorous volume contains such a distressing story that consuming any of its contents would be far more stomach-turning than even the most imbalanced meal.It would be best if I didn't mention any of the unnerving ingredients of this story, particularly, an unruly crowd, a wooden plank, and Chabo the Wolf Baby. I also shouldn't mention the features of the interactive CD, which include: Perplexing word games, Photos from the Lemony Snicket Archives, and Art from the Brett Helquist gallery.Sadly for me, I continue to research the lives of the Baudelaire orphans, but your time might be filled with something more palatable. With all due respect,Lemony Snicket

It adresses even further the morality idea started in the previous book. The series seems to get beter with each book. Can.t wait to read the next one!
This review can also be found at: Blogger & Goodreads. Without much of a choice the Baudelaire orphans have no option but to climb into the belly of the beast and hide in the boot of Count Olafs car leaving the unfortunate events of the hospital behind them. Which is where our story picks up. Usin...
Snicket engages in some serious moral wrangling in this volume, and forces the reader to do the same. At a crucial moment, the Baudelaire orphans meet a woman who wants to be a good, strong person -- but because her motto is "give people what they want," she can always be manipulated by villains, an...
