I almost never read romance, but when I do it's almost always Jennifer Crusie. She has a way of writing romance without the melodrama, and even when there is angst, it's almost always short lived and smothered in wry humour. The fact that all her characters staunchly defend and rescue animals make...

I didn't like this one as much as I've liked other books I've read by her. Some of it was funny, but the plot was a little unbelievable, although another of her books has a similar plot and I liked that one. Maybe it was just too short to really get into? I liked Daisy, but she started to change,...

This is a story that i can't even complaint on how much it disappointed me... I picked it up because i just wanted a nice, fast read to just "cleanse" my mind for the next "earth shattering" story that happened to come my way! So yes, i just wanted something fluffy to read! Something that would ju...

Loved the book, JC just has this very different style. The heroine is quite bohemian, she quit her teaching job to be an artist, lives in a mis-matched apartment with cats, wears weird loose clothes and is not the hero's type who likes blondes but she is his perfect fake fiancée and would help him g...

If you haven't read it, and are a fan of the genre, you should definitely give it a go!The Cinderella Deal ended up being very sweet, light on the angst, and had an altogether different feel than a lot of...

Funny story about a straight laced professor Linc who needs a fake fiance and asks a flighty artist Daisy. I enjoyed all the quirky characters even the pets and the fast paced plot had plenty of homey emotional moments as opposites gradually become friends.
