I know Sister Souljah has a powerful voice, but I never knew her writing was just as powerful. The Coldest Winter Ever is gritty and in your face. It's definately not for those who have a tendency to cast judgment on situations without properly analyzing.
I like this book, but it is the same story over and over again I I love urban books but I need more. This is why it gets only 4 stars.
I do not know what I think... read for a genre class about street lit.
Not really up my alley, but it was pretty well written and definitely had a clear message (drugs = BAD). I can see why some of my patrons come in looking for it.
