What a great story! I laughed and cried many times! Such wonderful writing and really engaging characters!! I love this authors work!!I am currently on a Regency kick and this one was terrific!!
I do remember this book, and thought, I like a big girl who can take care of herself. I don't know how accurate this is for the time period, but then I think, Helen is not an aristocrat. She's petite bourgeoisie so it's possible. Regardless, I liked the sparring between Helen and Heatherington. ...
