I totally love this series. This book is different from the others in my opinion because it is more about the romance than solving whatever mystery Adrien finds himself in. Jake actually won some hearts in this one I believe. :)
"If you press me to say why I loved him, I can say no more than because he was he, and I was I." - Michel de Montaigne Among the backdrop of finding a 50 year old skeleton in the building Adrien has bought to expand his book store, he is trying to recover from much needed heart surgery, contemplatin...
Really glad I read this one. Also super glad to skip the other books. Thanks to Catherine Dair and Vanessa North for supporting my Lanyon fangirling, and spoilering me appropriately.
3 ½ stars. Overall a nice culmination to this series, but not a total sparklefest for me. *light spoilers follow* Adrien [with an ‘e’] is normally such a relateable character, however, but I didn't quite get him in this book. I can understand wanting to take time to physically heal before he confr...

Oh, how I loved this series! It's been an absolute pleasure! I fell in love with the characters and now I'm too sad to let them go. Josh Lanyon really is a brilliant author. If you're a fan of a good mystery and romance genre, I highly recommend it. It's definitely a page turner. I can't wait to see...
Ah, well. All good things must come to an end. As always, I loved visiting with Adrien and Jake for a snippet of their lives. You'd think that a decades old mystery, one where most of the principles should be dead or geriatrics by now, would be safe for Adrien to go poking into. Not so, of course, wi...
Review completed January 31, 2013He smelled like soap and sleep and bare skin. He smelled familiar. Not the déjà-vu familiar of Guy or Mel. Familiar like…the ache in your chest of homesickness, of longing for harbor after weeks of rough seas or craving a fire’s warmth after snow—or wanting back some...
My review just can't do this book or series justice so I won't try. The emotional ups and downs yeesh! Mr Lanyon hats off to you. I would have loved seeing more happy romance time but even without this book is worth 5 stars.
This is the last book in the Adrien (with an 'E') English series and I am so bummed that this is the end! *sniffle* Loved each book in the set as we went through several murder investigations, serious mysteries that had me trying to puzzle out the culprit (every time!), amusing family dynamics and a...
