I really felt for Trey. He was such a broken character, yet managed to survice everything he went through. This story does not revolve around the romance. It was a big part of it, but the main focus was Trey and how he lives his life. This is definitely a dark book. It deals with the abuse Trey suff...

Yeah, wow. Lots of dark stuff going on here. Lots of comfort/healing going on as well. This book ends in a HFN and an excerpt for the next book. That threw me. I recommend this book but with the following cautions: triggers include severe childhood abuse, physical, mental, and sexual.

Although I beta-read this book and so already knew what happened, I had to get it from amazon and read it again. This is a very gripping and dark tale about two young men, both with heavy baggage from their younger years. How they find each other, tentatively open up to each other, only to emotional...

3.5 starsOne line stands out in the blurb: “Trey travels through his fearscapes”… and we travel right along with him through the good, the bad, and the ugly. This boy has some serious issues. Trey is abandoned by his mother for a heroin needle, and severely abused from a tender age by his pederast st...
