In "The Darlington Substitution", an artifact of some legend and the source of a long-lived family curse has gone missing. Holmes is hired to recover the artifact and finds himself in the midst of a larger and much more threatening mystery.This is a well-written Sherlock Holmes pastiche.4 STARS
