She's so self-absorbed, so stupid that I just wanted to chuck the book right out the window! But I didn't because I actually do enjoy the world bui...

Secondly, this was an audiobook listen and while Tara Sands did a good job and her voice worked well for both the age of t...

So I'm left with pretty much the same feeling as I was after finishing The Forest of Hands and Teeth, which is I really only started throughly enjoying this book at the very end. I spent the first 75% of The Dead Tossed Waves only being slightly interested in it. I see a common theme now in this ser...

I really loved "The Forest of Hands and Teeth". Now Ms. Ryan doesn't disappoint with her newest book. It was fascinating, seeing what happened with Mary, the story of Gabry, and the other characters. It is hard to imagine just what it must be like, to be surrounded by the undead, living within walls...

Trigger warnings: attempted rapeA friend had told me the second installment was about Mary's daughter, so I prepared myself accordingly, but I wasn't prepared for ANOTHER love triangle and another heroine who depended on the love of two boys to function, to feel self-worth and to make any decisions....
