Really quick read. It's the story of Scathah's rescue of Joan as told by William of York. It's another epic battle of The Shadow. It's already known in the Magician that Joan was saved and it was Scatty who did it, but it was never really explained. It was really nice to get the vivid picture of Sca...
A few pages of cool action, but didn't ad much to the story. I was hoping for some additional insight...but there was nothing.
Short story from Scott that fits into the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, chronicling the trial and death by burning-at-the-stake of Jean d'Arc. Oh, and the part that normally gets left out where she does not actually die but is rescued by a friend....
