Okay, a friend challenged me to read this 30 days ago, I did it and The Deep End of the Ocean was not something I would have ever chosen on my own. Overall it was sad and at times depressing but what saved it for me was the way Jacquelyn paced the story. I had to keep on pushing through to see what ...

This is the definition of "page turner". Do not let the movie color your choice of reading this. The movie doesn't even understand the book and should not have the same name.

And, I don't remember why I loved it so much. I have never experienced the loss that this family did, but I found each one of the...

2000I know a lot of people can't stand to read children-in-peril stories, but they don't seem to bother me. Anyway, the strength of this book lies in the very believable reactions of a family to the kidnapping of one of the children. The story carries over ten years or more and covers a lot of emot...
