Kindred's Reading Challenge #1: A novel by Mark Twain
Laugh-out-loud funny, sweet, clever, and of course, insightful. The Diaries of Adam and Eve captures the can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em dichotomy that is the male-female relationship. This book spoke to me, and I enjoyed the idea that husbands and wives have had the same relationship...
I'm going to cheat a bit here because this isn't the edition I'm reading. I'm reading the free ebooks (linked below), but there isn't an easy way of noting "hey, I'm reading both of these." Brilliant! I was so impressed with it, that I told all my friends (who enjoy reading) to give it a try. At least one was enthusiastic about it.
Funny and touching. One of my absolute favorites.
