1.5/5; 2 stars; DThis was a very poor example of Mary Balogh's writing. I have read and loved many books by this author but I didn't like this at all. The main problem was the heroine's steadfast stupidity and determination to bury herself deeper and deeper in trouble by making bad choices.
Maybe imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ...
