Fantastic read. I really enjoyed this book. I was a bit hesitant to read it after I read Inkheart earlier this year. I loved Inkheart, but it took me a while to get into it. This one, however, had me hooked at page one. This is a great adventure tale. In comparison to Inkheart, it has a faster pace....

Originally published on amazon on June 25, 2005. My son was 5 and my daughter was 9 at the time I wrote this review (they are now 14 & 17)! A blast from the past, and a lovely memory. I gave this three stars, because I personally wanted to give it two, but I think it probably deserves four. I know that for other people, especially the audience it's actually intended for (children/YA), it would be a great book, and they'd love it. I didn't really get into the book, and it's not ...
