The Wilderness Years are over! But not for long. At the end of Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget hiccuped off into the sunset with man-of-her-dreams Mark Darcy. Now, in The Edge of Reason, she discovers what it is like when you have the man of your dreams actually in your flat and he hasn't done the wa...

Not as fresh and quotable as the first Bridget Jones book, but still a lot of fun. More entertaining if you're familiar with Persuasion, since her references (callbacks?) to it are hilarious. Too sleepy to type more. Read this book if you like funny.

Hilarious as always! So many extra funny moments in the book than the film, the Colin Firth interview for one (hah!). Ahhhhh, could read it all again and laugh all over again. Bridget Jones - I will never get tired of you and your antics!

Three cheers for finally finishing this book! It took me a month to get through what normally only takes a week, and I ended up skimming the last quarter of the book. One star for being absolutely boring and basically repeating the first book. Gave two stars just because parts still did make me laug...

I liked this book about as much as the first one, though this one was a lot more different from the movie than the first one was.Like in the first one, I found myself constantly criticizing Bridget for everything I see wrong with her—her lack of self-esteem, her inability to see the consequences of ...
