It's been a really, really long time since I've read this series. J.L. Langley was an early days author for me when it comes to m/m and I strongly remember how much I enjoyed these stories. Sci-fi is another one of those genres that I rarely venture into. So while I'll be the first to admit I'm n...

This book was a gift from my MM Group Secret Santa. I want to say a million thanks to her because I LOVED this book. This whole series is so awesome.

Another good read with the second in the series, but I did prefer the upside-down world of Regelence just a wee bit more than Englor, which was very much like Regency England and didn't have the same oomph.Sexy, hot, slightly dirty and often aggressive loving. Go boys!

This was perhaps not as good as the first in the series, but I enjoyed it a great deal. I love the faux regency setting for this series and the idea of the planet of Regelence, where m/m is the norm. It was interesting to see the culture clash between that society's norms and those of Englor, whic...

I just re-read this one also to prepare for #3, and I'm actually a little surprised that I still don't like it as much as the first. It was especially fun in this book to not only have the regency costumes, but since it was set on Englor, the London-clone to actually have the regency places like Gent...

I'm writing this review after my fourth reread of this book and in preparation for the next book in the series coming out soon. To say I love it would be an understatement. It's probably one of my favorite books out there. I love how it ties in the same aspects and partial conflicts from the previou...

3.5, not bad at all!I enjoyed it a lot, but it's not a "WOW" book. It's a good read though. A lot more angst than the first book.Recommended if you like this genre

Are there only two books to this? Why only two? I enjoyed Englor Affair a LOT. The play on Regency romances is delightful. I liked this book even better than the first. Payton is a hoot. He's a hacker and I have to love a hacker; I'm such a geek. Simon - love him. The two of them together ar...
